Buying a T70P: your questions.
What is the DJI Agras T70P best for?
The T70P is an all-rounder for spraying, spreading and lifting. It has a 70 L spray tank, a 100 L spreader and 65 kg lifting, and is lighter to handle than the T100. It suits orchards, vineyards and mid-sized farms.
T70P or T100: what's the difference?
The T100 carries more per flight: 100 L spraying, 150 L spreading and 100 kg lifting, against the T70P's 70 L, 100 L and 65 kg. Both spray at up to 40 L/min with four sprinklers and use the same DB2160 and DB2212 batteries and chargers. The T70P can also run the lighter DB1580 battery.
Can the T70P spray orchards?
Yes. With four sprinklers it sprays at 40 L/min with a 4 to 11 m spray width. Optional mist sprinklers give finer droplets for canopy work.
Do you sell the T70P outside Hawke's Bay?
Yes. We sell DJI Agras drones, packages and accessories anywhere in New Zealand.
Do I need a licence to fly a spray drone in New Zealand?
Drones over 25 kg, including the T70P, can only be flown under a CAA Part 102 operator certificate. Applying agrichemicals has its own training requirements too. Talk to us about where to start.
