Buying a T100: your questions.
Is the DJI Agras T100 good for orchards and vineyards?
Yes. With the optional rear four-sprinkler array it sprays at 40 L/min, and DJI measured 65% more coverage on the underside of leaves than the T50. It's the drone we use ourselves on Hawke's Bay orchards and vineyards.
T100, T70P or T25P: which should I buy?
The T100 suits large orchards, vineyards and farms where you want to cover the most ground per load, or lift up to 100 kg. The T70P does the same jobs with a 70 L tank and is lighter to handle. The T25P is the compact, foldable choice for smaller blocks and solo operators. See the comparison table above, or call us and we'll help you choose.
Do you sell the T100 outside Hawke's Bay?
Yes. We sell DJI Agras drones, packages and accessories anywhere in New Zealand.
What do I need to keep a T100 flying all day?
Enough batteries to rotate while one charges, plus a charging source: the D14000iE generator in the paddock, or the C12000 on three-phase power. Either charges a DB2160 from 30 to 95% in 8 to 9 minutes.
Do I need a licence to fly a spray drone in New Zealand?
Drones over 25 kg, including the T100, can only be flown under a CAA Part 102 operator certificate. Applying agrichemicals has its own training requirements too. Talk to us about where to start.
